Peak and it has been raining. Today should be the best day of the week with a bit of sun and then rain again tomorrow. Today would be the best day for driving over to Fryeburg Fair, over though the notch with all of the leaf peepers and come back up through Evens Notch and route 2. Excellent drive in Northern New England and one of the best times of the year.
I just love love love Fryeburg Fair and have gone almost every year for the past 20 years, but I am not sure if I will make it this year. A bit buried at work and still in a bit of a flare up, so I wouldn’t be able to do the drive by myself, walk around and come home in one day. Saturday might be nice, so perhaps I will venture out then. Still hope.
Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow. Do what you can do and just plug along. Routine is the best method for this. Get up, get coffee, shower, dress, head out. Sit at your desk and work will come your way. Allow yourself to handle one email, one phone call, one report at a time. Talk with co-workers. Try and get in at least one laugh an hour in and before you know it, you have accomplished a day at work and you win. What ever your struggle is in life, continuing to move forward one little bit at a time, is the way to get through it and not let it take you down.
Fryeburg Fair runs all week and there is still a shot that I will head over. Lulu has a soccer game under the lights on Friday and maybe Em will come up for the day as well. I bet if I look around and ask, I will be able to get someone to go with me. Hey kids, anybody want to go to the Fair?
Update: Yahoo and Yippe! Barb called and she is going to go to Fryeburg with me! Going on Thursay..meeting at the Elmore store at 7:00 am… anybody else want in on the fun? The more people in the car, the less likely I will be to bring a sheep home.
